Retired Brazilian footballer ronaldo has said on his Instagram account that he is honored to attend the opening ceremony of the Russian football World Cup.
 
Russia beat Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opening ceremony of the World Cup on Thursday at Moscow's luzhniki stadium. Ronaldo took the lead boy from the official video to the opening ceremony.
 
Ronaldo wrote: "it is a great privilege to be part of this unparalleled opening ceremony of 80,000 fans. It was amazing. When I entered, I felt incredibly excited and motivated. Thank you, and congratulations to Russia, go ahead, Brazil!
 
Ronaldo ended his career in 2011. He led Brazil to two World Cup titles (1994,2002), second place in the world leading goalscoring history (15), and two golden globe awards (1997,2002).
